I am an architect, an art historian and, as an artist, I work with video art and pneumatic structures. The latter allows me to generate changing spaces which are always different and sensitive to the presence of the spectator. Spaces that are more democratic for me because my proposal is transformed through the vision of others. Together, we generate a new reality that is not only spatial, but also emotional, because architecture and art have that power: the power to modify people’s mood and state of mind.
I am interested in the search for tools and procedures that allow me to apprehend architecture and territory. To find ways to capture the space of the invisible, the exhumed, the hidden, the fugitive, the seemly forgotten. The scenarios and the language of my installations are fictional and the representation of diverse domestic geometries, through visual tools. The concept Homo-Ludens is part of my seminal thinking, whose purpose is to stimulate and alter emotions. Play and knowledge, like play and reality, dialoguing as conceptual opposites, united by the same crisis and necessity.
