Fede Taus

He specialized in Painting between 2007 and 2009 in the Class of Gonzalo Díaz at the University of Chile. Between 2009 and 2010 she created and founded the initiative “Proyecto Sudaca” among the emerging artists of that house of studies. In different periods from 2014 to 2019 she was the Painting Assistant of Francisco Papas Fritas in San Miguel, Chile and in 2015 she was the Assistant of the Artist and researcher Ingrid Wildi Merino in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland. She participated in the research and visual articulation of 12 “Leporellos” of the Ingrid Wildi Merino’s research project/book : “Architecture of the Transfers: Art, Politics and Technology” 2015, (Book edited by Abada, Spain in Collaboration with HEAD-Geneve, Geneva School of Art and Design, Switzerland and University of Chile in the year 2016) In 2015 he participated as “Guest Student” in the Intermediate Class of Prof. Alba D’Urbano at Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst Leipzig, Germany. In 2016 he wins a DAAD scholarship, with which he will carry out between 2016 and 2018 postgraduate studies for artists (Meisterschüler) in the class directed by Prof. Alba D’Urbano at Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst Leipzig, Germany. 

Fede collaborated regularly for Alba Magazine, Berlin, Germany between the years 2015/17. He currently lives and works in Leipzig, Germany.
